Aishwarya Arthanari Eswaran is a highly skilled Software Engineer II at Schlumberger with over 5 years of experience in the field. She is currently working on core cloud infrastructure components of SLB's IIoT platform, namely Nimbus (GCP-based) & EDM (Azure-based), that provide real-time monitoring, data ingestion, remote configuration & management for industrial oilfield equipment. Aishwarya has designed and implemented a cloud-based tokenization service for edge gateways to securely connect with Nimbus, enabling MFA in the IIoT platform. She has also developed, tested and deployed several microservice APIs to Nimbus & EDM production servers, including compact historical data delivery, cloud-to-edge file download, real-time edge connectivity monitoring & alerting, etc. Aishwarya has a Master of Science degree in Information Technology - Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University - School of Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Anna University. She has also completed her high school education from PSBB Senior Secondary School KKNagar with a specialization in Computer Science. During her summer research internship at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Chennai, Aishwarya created a new lossless text compression algorithm combining data partitioning technique K-Means Clustering and conventional compression algorithm Huffman Encoding. This algorithm efficiently compresses 20k+ words under 2 minutes and achieves an overall compression ratio of 1.36, thereby leading to significant and noteworthy contributions to the then existing solutions. Aishwarya is highly proficient in GCP, Microsoft Azure, Redis, Golang, C#, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, EXPECT, Linux Shell scripts, and other relevant technologies. She has also mentored a summer intern to develop a web app simulating remote operations for wireline trucks and conducted information sessions to college students providing insights about software engineering practices and technologies in the IIoT sector. Aishwarya has also guided newly inducted team members on cloud platform development & automation workflows.
